Selwyn Snow Resort is looking for a reliable and skilled Sewerage Treatment Plant Operator to join our team!
As a Sewerage Treatment Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of the resort’s sewage treatment systems. Responsibilities include operating and monitoring the treatment plant, performing regular inspections and maintenance, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and licenses, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This role requires a strong understanding of sewage treatment processes, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment at the resort.
This year-round role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient management of our sewerage treatment plant at Selwyn Snow Resort while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Winter Operations (June–September): Operate the Selwyn sewerage treatment plant 6 days a week
🔹 Rest of the Year: maintain Selwyn’s sewerage treatment plant 4 days a week. As well as assist with general maintenance.
🔹 Water Testing & Reporting: Conduct regular testing and reporting under EPA licenses
🔹 Recycled Water Management: Assist with Selwyn’s recycled water scheme
🔹 Environmental Management System (EMS): Compile and track annual environmental reports (wastewater discharge, water/fuel usage, etc.)
🔹 Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of treatment/testing equipment.
