Description

Where Purpose Meets Performance

Are you a high-achieving recruitment professional who thrives on the momentum of closing deals, but wants your success to mean something more? Do you love exceeding financial targets, yet pride yourself on a calm, deeply consultative approach to client care?

At Bloom HR, we are looking for a rare combination: a proactive, growth-focused producer with a service-oriented heart.

Since 2011, Bloom HR has been the trusted outsourced HR and talent acquisition partner for not-for-profits (NFPs), small businesses, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) across Australia. Our vision is to create workplaces where people feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. To help us achieve this, we need a Senior Talent Consultant who can walk into high-volume portfolios, drive jobs to a successful close, and proactively build new market opportunities.

The Duality: Commercial Drive with a Service Focus

This is not a transactional agency role. You will not be micromanaged on activity metrics, but you will be expected to own your revenue targets and grow your portfolio.

To thrive here, you must balance two distinct gears:

The Commercial Driver: You are motivated by uncapped commission. You love uncovering new business, pitching to clients, winning tenders, and navigating the final stages of an offer to secure a placement.

The Calm Partner: You bring a composed, premium, and values-led presence to your interactions. Our clients in the NFP, government, and community sectors operate with deep purpose, and you must act as a trusted, empathetic extension of their team.

The Opportunity and the Workflow

You will be stepping into a highly functional, pod-based team. You will not spend your days stuck doing endless cold sourcing. Our dedicated sourcing and coordination engine room handles the initial outreach, phone screening, and reference checking, handing you a warm pipeline of qualified talent.

Your job is to drive the finish line:

– Conduct deep-dive behavioural interviews and craft high-level candidate profiles.

– Partner with hiring managers across major government accounts to guide their selection decisions.

– Manage complex offer negotiations to secure our industry-leading 90 per cent placement retention rate.

– Dedicate 20 per cent of your week to proactive business development, utilising HubSpot to track your pipeline and expand Bloom HR’s footprint.

What You Bring (The Essentials)

– Sector Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of 360-degree agency recruitment experience, with a mandatory track record in the Australian NFP, Community Services, or Government sectors.

– The Growth Mindset: Documented success in business development, showing you know how to map a market, build a pipeline, and secure client accounts.

– Communication Mastery: Exceptional written skills. You can write analytical, insight-led candidate reports that justify our premium service standard.

– The Tech Stack: Advanced operational proficiency with LinkedIn RecruiterEmployment Hero, and HubSpot.

– Mobility: A valid Australian driver’s license and a willingness to travel regularly to meet clients and candidates face-to-face.

What is in it for You?

– True Autonomy: A fully remote working model with designated in-office days for collaboration and strategy.

Open to part time for full time (minimum 30 hours per week)

– Real Reward: A competitive base salary plus uncapped commission (OTE $113,600-$124,800), fully remote with regular travel for business development, relationship nurturing and candidate care.

– Lasting Impact: The chance to use your elite recruitment skills to build sustainable organisations that have a positive impact on the communities they support.
