Description

About Us

Bishopp has grown over three decades into Australia’s premier regional out-of-home advertising company. With more than 3,000 advertising opportunities across Australia and New Zealand, we deliver unparalleled visibility for brands through an extensive roadside and airport network.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a commercially minded Marketing and Communications Manager to own and lead marketing for the Bishopp Group.

You’ll build and lead our marketing function end to end: developing the brand and marketing strategy, planning and executing multi-channel campaigns, and using data to prove what’s working and sharpen what isn’t. You’ll work closely with our national sales team and report directly to the Sales Director.  You’ll set the strategy, not just execute someone else’s, and you’ll be accountable for the results it delivers.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our office in Kelvin Grove.

Key Responsibilities

At Bishopp, we believe the work matters—and so does enjoying it. Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the marketing strategy — develop and lead the brand, marketing and communications strategy for the Bishopp Group, aligned to commercial and revenue goals.
  • Plan and execute campaigns — lead multi-channel campaign planning and execution across digital, EDM, content, events and brand activity, from concept through to delivery.
  • Drive results with data — set KPIs, track campaign and channel performance, and use analytics to inform decisions and continuously improve ROI.
  • Lead and develop a small team — manage and mentor 1–2 direct reports, building marketing capability within the business.
  • Own the brand — act as guardian of the Bishopp brand across all channels, sales collateral and external-facing content.

    Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • Five + years’ experience in marketing, with demonstrated experience owning strategy.
    • A track record of planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns end to end.
    • Strong analytical capability — comfortable using data and analytics to guide decisions and demonstrate ROI.
    • Proficiency across CRM, Google Analytics, WordPress/CMS platforms and the Microsoft Office suite.

    Why Join Bishopp?

We believe that when the business grows, our people grow too. This is an opportunity to join a successful and expanding organisation where your expertise will directly influence the delivery of new development opportunities across Australia.
