About the Role
As our CRO team continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Clinical) to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane.
Leading a portfolio of Australian and international clinical studies, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of clinical trials from start-up through to close-out. You’ll partner closely with sponsors, investigators, vendors and cross-functional teams, providing strategic oversight while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working within our growing boutique CRO, you’ll combine strong project leadership with commercial
awareness, ensuring the successful delivery of clinical research programs while contributing to
the continued growth of Biointelect.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of clinical trials from study start-up through to close-out.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to achieve project milestones and successful study outcomes.
- Build trusted partnerships with sponsors, investigators, vendors and key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic oversight of study delivery, quality, timelines and project performance.
- Identify project risks and implement practical mitigation strategies.
- Oversee project reporting, governance and client communications.
- Support proposal development, business development initiatives and continuous improvement across the team.
To be successful in the role, you’ll have:
- A degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ clinical project management experience within a CRO, sponsor or clinical research
environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site clinical trials, including Phase I healthy
volunteer studies.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across
sponsors, investigators and project teams.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance client expectations, quality and project outcomes.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience contributing to proposal development or business development initiatives will
be highly regarded.
