Your Role

Reporting to the Office Manager and Branch Manager, you will provide broad administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Meadowbrook branch. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing customer quotations, processing orders, and managing invoicing. You’ll also handle reception duties, answer calls, and assist with both customer and supplier enquiries, ensuring a professional and helpful first point of contact.

Your responsibilities will include raising purchase orders, processing payments, and completing daily banking tasks. You’ll maintain accurate records, manage databases and filing systems, and assist with general office tasks such as coordinating meetings and arranging travel bookings. Additionally, you will support accounts payable processes, including supplier invoicing and payment runs, while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in an administrative role with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication, professional presentation, and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities with the flexibility to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of filing systems, general bookkeeping, and WHS principles
  • Certificate III in Business (highly regarded)
  • A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
