Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and delivering solutions that make a real difference? If so, this is your opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading furniture suppliers and play a key role in shaping inspiring learning environments across Melbourne.
Who are we?
BFX Furniture is a proudly Australian-owned company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of innovative education and commercial furniture solutions. Since 1987, we’ve built a reputation for quality, customer service, and forward-thinking design, becoming a trusted partner to schools, businesses and community organisations nationwide.
Our success is driven by our people, our passion for innovation, and our commitment to helping customers create functional, engaging spaces where people learn, work and connect.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious and relationship-focused Territory Sales Manager (internally known as Sales & Project Consultant) to manage and grow a well-established territory across Melbourne’s Inner North, South East and Bayside suburbs.
This is more than a sales role. It’s an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to schools and education providers, helping them transform their spaces with innovative furniture solutions tailored to their needs.
You’ll enjoy the autonomy to manage your territory, build long-term partnerships, identify new opportunities, and drive sustainable business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and growing relationships with existing education and commercial customers
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across your territory
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to project completion
- Conducting client meetings, product presentations and site visits
- Providing consultative, solution-based recommendations to meet customer needs
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Achieving sales targets while building a strong pipeline of future opportunities
Why Join BFX?
- Established and respected Australian brand
- Autonomous territory management role
- Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home
- Opportunity to work with market-leading products and solutions
- Supportive and collaborative team culture
- Ongoing growth and career development opportunities
- Rewarding role where your success directly contributes to business growth
About You
You’re a motivated, commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities. You have a track record of achieving results, managing client portfolios, and developing new business through a consultative approach.
Experience within education, commercial interiors, furniture, fit-out, workplace solutions or related industries will be highly regarded. However, we’re equally interested in candidates with strong B2B sales experience, a growth mindset, and the confidence to establish trusted customer relationships.
Most importantly, you’ll bring:
- Proven success in B2B sales and business development
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory
Location
This hybrid role covers Melbourne’s Inner North, South East and Bayside suburbs, including St Kilda, Malvern, Caulfield East, Northcote, Collingwood, Sandringham, Clifton Hill and Bellfield. Regular client visits form an important part of the role, alongside the flexibility to work from home.
If you’re ready to take ownership of a thriving territory and join a business that’s helping shape educational spaces across Australia, we’d love to hear from you.
