Whether you’re an experienced Sewing Machinist or looking to learn a new skill, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive manufacturing team producing quality furniture for schools and commercial spaces across Australia. Based in Yandina, this full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm. Professional sewing experience is not essential. We’re looking for someone with basic sewing skills, a positive attitude, strong reliability, and a willingness to learn. If you’re a team player who can pick up new skills quickly and enjoys hands-on work, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note: If shortlisted, you’ll be asked to complete a short sewing assessment during your interview so we can get an understanding of your current sewing skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Sew and assemble upholstery components using industrial machines
• Read and follow patterns, drawings and measurements
• Maintain high-quality standards with strong attention to detail
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Follow safety and quality procedures in a manufacturing environment

What you’ll bring to this role

• Experience using a sewing machine as a hobby or a strong interest in sewing would be valuable.
