We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data & AI team and support our marketing and CRM analytics work. You will partner closely with our senior analyst, building and maintaining the reports, dashboards, and automated reporting that the marketing, retention, and sales teams rely on every day. Over time, you will take ownership of the marketing analytics reporting suite.
It is a great fit for someone who is strong on the fundamentals, comfortable in Power BI and SQL, and keen to learn, take ownership, and grow.
About the Team
The Data & AI team builds the data platforms, pipelines, analytics, and reporting that power decisions across the business – from marketing and CRM through to operational and management reporting. We are a collaborative, remote-friendly team of data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists who care about clean work, reliable delivery, ownership, and continuous learning. You will work closely with our senior analyst and have real room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring reports – marketing performance, acquisition and retention, and monthly state/business reports.
- Write and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting.
- Automate the generation and delivery of recurring reports (e.g. using Power Automate – scheduled or trigger-based flows to the marketing team).
- Analyse marketing campaigns, promotions, and A/B tests, and turn the results into clear, actionable insights.
- Run data-quality checks – deduplication, validation, and hygiene – to keep reporting accurate and trusted.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from marketing and sales stakeholders.
- As the team’s reporting needs grow, help build and maintain racing and sports dashboards alongside the marketing suite, using the same core tools (Power BI, SQL, Power Automate).
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid SQL fundamentals – joins, aggregation, and a good instinct for correct, efficient queries.
- Working knowledge of Power BI (building dashboards; DAX basics), or a strong, demonstrable willingness to learn it quickly.
- Comfortable with Excel and general data cleaning and validation.
- A learning mindset, attention to detail, and genuine ownership of your work.
- Some hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting – we care more about demonstrated SQL and Power BI ability than years. A degree in a related field is welcome but not required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with report automation (Power Automate, Office Scripts, or scripting).
- Exposure to CRM and marketing data, or campaign/promotions analysis.
- Some Python, or interest in learning it.
- Interest in the wagering / marketing-analytics domain.
What You Will Grow Into
As you build confidence, you will take on more of the reporting yourself – eventually owning the dashboards, automated reports, and stakeholder relationships across marketing and CRM, and extending into racing and sports reporting as our needs grow.
