About the role
Benmax has built a reputation for delivering quality work, investing in our people and creating real opportunities to grow. Our work spans commercial mechanical services through to the cooling systems that support AI and data centre infrastructure.
The Strategy team sits at the centre of the business’s growth, working on mergers and acquisitions, integration programs and the marketing and communications that tell the Benmax story. We are seeking a Strategy Administrator to keep this work organised and moving, and to play an active part in it.
Based at our office in Hume, ACT, you will work across a varied mix of projects, people and priorities. One day you might be coordinating documentation for an acquisition, the next you could be helping shape a communications piece or preparing senior leaders for a key meeting. No two days will be the same.
Key responsibilities
- Support marketing and communications activity
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions and integration programs, including coordinating documents, meetings and correspondence with legal teams
- Manage the team’s priority tracking and report on progress
- Work with team members to keep their goals moving and help resolve barriers to progress
- Coordinate team meetings, including agendas, minutes and follow-up of actions
- Manage diaries, domestic and international travel, correspondence and briefing notes for senior leaders
- Oversee expenses, invoicing, purchase orders and vendor administration
- Maintain accurate, well-organised team documentation and version control
About you
You are a motivated self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable working in an environment where priorities can shift quickly. You are confident engaging with senior leaders, hold your own in conversations with a wide range of stakeholders and follow through on what needs to get done.
You will bring:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an administration, executive assistant, coordination or similar role (essential)
- Demonstrated organisational ability, with strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with ambiguity and making sound decisions when the path forward is unclear
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure and during periods of change
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams
- Sound judgement and discretion when handling commercially sensitive and legal matters
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
A Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or Project Management Practice is desirable, as is experience supporting organisational change.
