About the role

Benmax is seeking an experienced Project Programmer/Scheduler to join our Projects team, working closely with the Construction Manager. In this role you’ll take ownership of project programs across our construction, engineering and infrastructure projects, providing the planning leadership that keeps our teams on track and our clients informed.

Your work will include:

  • Building, developing and maintaining project programs, providing status updates and reporting to project teams and management at all levels
  • Tracking milestones and flagging potential schedule movements early
  • Reviewing and integrating subcontractor and client programs
  • Working with project teams to plan and sequence deliverables to achieve delivery milestones
  • Applying strong planning, analytical and communication skills, and collaborating across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment
  • Contributing to Division planning and other planning activities as required
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards and WHSEQ systems

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project planning and scheduling within construction, engineering or infrastructure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and the general Microsoft Office suite, as well as Oracle Primavera P6 and Procore
  • Strong planning, analytical and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with complex projects and logistics planning is a plus
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or construction management are desirable
