Description

About the role

Benmax has built a reputation for delivering quality work, investing in our people and creating real opportunities to grow. Our work spans commercial mechanical services through to the cooling systems that support AI and data centre infrastructure.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Systems Manager, you will establish the supply chain master data that the business runs on, setting the standards, definitions and controls for item, BOM and supplier data across our systems.

The role starts with setting up the masters, managing the product-creation gate with engineering and leading data readiness for our PLM, Planning and NetSuite migrations. As the data matures, your focus will grow into supply chain analysis, automation and supporting the S&OP cycle. It’s a role with real ownership and a clear path to grow.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the supply chain domain register, including the system of record, definition and accountable owner for each data domain
  • Create and maintain item, BOM and supplier master data to agreed KPIs, including coding, attributes, lifecycle and planning parameters
  • Manage the product-creation gate, ensuring every new item meets coding rules and required standards before it enters the system
  • Run change control from intake through to execution, with a complete audit trail
  • Lead migration readiness for PLM, Planning and NetSuite, including cleansing, mapping, loading and validating data, and advising on go/no-go at each cutover
  • Publish supply chain data definitions and monthly data quality measures
  • Maintain existing interim tools until they are replaced, then retire them
  • Move validation and routine reporting to automated, exception-based control
  • Analyse supply chain performance, including coverage and shortfall, supplier delivery and schedule adherence
  • Support the S&OP cycle with demand versus supply, criticality and build-ahead analysis
  • Build self-service reporting so supply chain teams can answer their own routine questions
  • Specify data, reporting and automation requirements on behalf of supply chain

About you

You are methodical, curious about what data tells you and confident building structure where little exists yet. You understand that good data depends on good standards, and you are comfortable holding those standards with engineers and other stakeholders, including when deadlines are tight. You enjoy a role that grows and changes over time.

You will bring:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in master data or data governance within an ERP, MRP or supply chain environment (essential)
  • Strong understanding of item, BOM and supplier data structures
  • Strong data handling skills and advanced Excel
  • Confidence to set standards and maintain them with stakeholders under delivery pressure
  • Experience building frameworks or processes from the start
  • Clear communication skills and sound judgement

Experience with SQL, Power Query or Power BI, ERP or PLM migrations, PLM platforms, S&OP, or a manufacturing or project-based supply chain environment would be highly regarded.
