Full-Time Handyman – Property Maintenance

Location: Noosa Heads

Hours: Thursday – Monday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Handyman to join our growing property maintenance team in Noosa.

The role involves maintaining a portfolio of luxury holiday homes, apartments and resort properties throughout the Noosa area.

The role is built around three main pillars:

• General Maintenance
• Preventative Maintenance
• Guest-Related Issues

This is a practical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently and is able to identify what needs to be done and manage their day accordingly.

Key responsibilities

• General property maintenance and repairs
• Carpentry and timber repairs
• Painting, patching and plaster repairs
• Minor plumbing
• Preventative maintenance checks and reporting
• Attending to guest maintenance requests and issues with a hospitality mindset
• Diagnosing maintenance problems and determining the appropriate solution
• Maintaining holiday homes, apartments and resort properties to a high standard
• Coordinating with management and external trades when specialist work is required
• Completing jobs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Ability to confidently use our reservation and maintenance software platforms to manage, update and communicate job information
• Ability to effectively plan and manage your day in a constantly changing environment, reprioritising scheduled work as new jobs and guest requests arise

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in property maintenance or has a trade background
• A genuine self-starter who can identify what needs to be done action it
• Reliable and punctual
• A strong communicator
• Quick, efficient and practical in their approach
• Able to troubleshoot problems and find solutions
• Clean and tidy in their work
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities
• Guest focused and professional when working in occupied holiday properties

Requirements

• Own reliable ute or van – essential
• Relevant trade background or strong property maintenance experience
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Ability to work Thursday to Monday, 8:00am–4:00pm
