Description
About us:
aXcelerate is a leading Australian SaaS company transforming the way organisations develop skills, manage learning, and build workforce capability. Our integrated platform combines a powerful Student Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS), and Skills, our workforce competency management solution, to help training providers, enterprises, and government organisations simplify compliance, streamline operations, and develop confident, capable workforces.
Trusted by over 1,300 organisations and powering more than 2.8 million learners, we’re redefining how learning and workforce capability are managed across Australia as we expand our impact internationally.
Recognised as a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years, we’re proud of a culture that empowers our people to innovate, collaborate, and grow. As we continue our exciting expansion into new markets and industries, there’s never been a better time to join our team.
The role:
We’re looking for a Software Sales Operations Coordinator to be the operational glue across our go-to-market teams.
Reporting directly to the CRO, you’ll connect people, processes, systems and data so priorities stay clear, follow-up happens on time, and every prospect gets a professional, well-coordinated experience throughout the sales cycle.
This role sits at the centre of our go-to-market motion — close enough to the detail to fix what’s broken, and close enough to the CRO and Executive Team to shape how we scale.
What you’ll be doing:
Sales operations and coordination
- Keep the sales team’s day-to-day rhythm on track — priorities, meetings, actions and follow-up.
- Manage inbound lead allocation and routing so enquiries reach the right person, fast.
- Monitor pipeline health, flagging stalled deals, overdue tasks and missing information.
Pipeline, reporting and revenue insight
- Prepare regular pipeline, forecast and activity reporting for the CRO, sales meetings and executive discussions.
- Review pipeline movement and data trends to identify gaps, bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
- Track key sales metrics and service levels, and flag proactively when performance or data quality falls outside expectations.
CRM and data management
- Act as our HubSpot champion — driving CRM data quality, adoption and continuous improvement.
- Build dashboards and reports that give the CRO and sales team clear visibility of pipeline and performance.
Marketing coordination and sales enablement
- Partner with Marketing to close the loop on campaign leads, attribution and conversion insights.
- Support proposals, sales collateral, demo environments and customer handovers to Professional Services and Customer Success.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in sales operations, revenue operations, software sales coordination, CRM administration or a closely related role.
- Experience supporting a B2B sales team in a software, SaaS or technology environment (or the drive to quickly build this knowledge).
- Working knowledge of CRM-based sales processes, pipeline management, reporting and data quality principles.
- A proactive, accountable working style, with the judgement to identify issues, follow through and escalate risks appropriately.
- Analytical capability and confidence using data to identify trends, gaps and recommended actions.
- High proficiency with common business productivity tools and confidence learning new software eg. HubSpot
- Familiarity with the Australian VET sector or another regulated B2B market
What we offer
- A central location, close to public transport, cafes and shops, with free on-site parking available.
- A vibrant, supportive and team-oriented culture, with regular team activities and social events.
- Opportunities for flexible and hybrid working.
- A focus on professional development and learning, with access to our LMS, external and internal training opportunities and your own personal annual PD budget.
- Access for you and your family to an Employee Assistance Program and resources.
- Cashback offers and discounts on popular brands through our Employment Hero app.
- Discounted gym membership and Pilates Class offers to support your health and wellbeing.
- Opportunities for career development with well defined career pathways across the business.
- Proud members of Women in Technology with access to networking events, professional development opportunities and resources.
