Description
About us
aXcelerate is a leading Australian SaaS company transforming the way organisations develop skills, manage learning, and build workforce capability. Our integrated platform combines a powerful Student Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS), and Skills, our workforce competency management solution, to help training providers, enterprises, and government organisations simplify compliance, streamline operations, and develop confident, capable workforces.
Trusted by over 1,300 organisations and powering more than 2.8 million learners, we’re redefining how learning and workforce capability are managed across Australia as we expand our impact internationally.
Recognised as a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years, we’re proud of a culture that empowers our people to innovate, collaborate, and grow. As we continue our exciting expansion into new markets and industries, there’s never been a better time to join our team.
The Opportunity
aXcelerate is best known for our vocational education and RTO compliance platform — and we’re building on that foundation with a new frontier: Workforce Competency Management.
You’ll work across aXcelerate’s enterprise product suite, including aXcelerate Skills — our workforce competency management product that helps large employers track capability, licensing and verification obligations across a distributed workforce.
As the Implementation Consultant (Enterprise) within our Professional Services team, you’ll be the product expert on our enterprise delivery squads. This role sits at the intersection of consulting and delivery — you’ll work directly with customers to surface business requirements, then partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Solutions Consultants to turn those requirements into a working platform the customer can confidently operate from day one.
It’s a genuine opportunity to build deep expertise in an area of growing importance to large employers, while broadening your knowledge across the wider enterprise portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
What a day in an Implementation Consultant – Enterprise’s life would look like at aXcelerate?
As an Implementation Consultant – Enterprise, your day is highly dynamic and customer-focused, centred on our largest and most complex accounts.
- Product Expertise — Build genuine subject matter expertise across aXcelerate’s products — competency frameworks, role mapping, user hierarchies, permissions, and reporting — and become the delivery team’s go-to reference on what the product can (and can’t) do, feeding gaps back to Product with enough context to act on.
- Configuration and Delivery — Turn customer requirements and solution designs into working, tested configuration against the agreed SOW scope, documenting the reasoning behind key decisions so the build stays maintainable well after handover.
- Enablement and Training — Design and deliver role-based training and quick-reference materials for everyone from administrators to end users, facilitating workshops on site and remotely and adapting your approach to different audiences.
- Customer and Project Contribution — Recommend the right delivery approach for each customer, support UAT by triaging issues and feedback, contribute to status and risk reporting, and help ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success after go-live.
- Continuous Improvement — Build reusable configuration processes and delivery assets that raise the bar for the whole team, and contribute to internal knowledge bases that help colleagues grow their own product expertise.
