Description

The homes we build matter. The people who build them matter even more.

We’re looking for a WHS Advisor to be the visible safety presence across our construction sites throughout Southeast Queensland.

We believe a great safety culture is built through relationships, trust and showing up consistently. Working alongside our WHS Manager, you’ll help create an environment where people feel supported, standards remain high and everyone goes home safely.

If you’re happiest in the field, enjoy building strong relationships and want to learn from an exceptional leader while making a real difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.

Why you’ll love working here

  • Most days are spent on site, not behind a desk.
  • Learn from an outstanding WHS Manager who is genuinely invested in developing future safety leaders.
  • A culture built on trust, accountability and doing the right thing.
  • The freedom to take ownership and make a genuine impact.
  • Career growth with one of Queensland’s leading residential builders.
  • Retail discounts, wellbeing benefits and a team you’ll genuinely enjoy working with.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Visiting construction sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba.
  • Conducting inspections, audits and safety observations.
  • Coaching supervisors and subcontractors on safe work practices.
  • Leading toolbox talks and site safety conversations.
  • Identifying hazards and driving corrective actions.
  • Supporting incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
  • Residential construction, trade, site supervision or WHS experience.
  • Current White Card and Driver Licence.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety.
  • A willingness to travel regularly throughout Southeast Queensland.

This role may not be for you if you

  • Prefer being office-based.
  • Avoid difficult conversations.
  • Need constant direction rather than taking ownership.
  • Struggle to build trust with site teams and subcontractors.
