Type A Technician – Service, Warehouse & Technical Support

About the Role

This is a unique role that will see you provide first-class service and support to our clients through accurate diagnosis and hands-on product knowledge, work in our warehouse assisting with equipment and skid assembly (utilising your plumbing skills), and act as a technical point of contact for our team and customers. It’s a varied role that moves between client sites, our workshop in Epping, and time spent working through technical queries — sometimes on the go, and other times at a desk digging into the detail. 

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair Type A heating and ventilation units
• Diagnose service issues and calibrate to manufacturer specifications
• Communicate with clients and keep them informed throughout the job
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting advice to our team and customers, whether on the road, by phone, or at a desk working through more complex queries
• Utilising your plumbing skills to support the warehouse team with hands-on assembly work and provide technical guidance as required
• Complete accurate paperwork and service reports on time

What You’ll Bring

• Plumbing, Gas Licence/Registration (Type A)
• Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect) – or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of hot water solutions an advantage, but not essential
• Current driver’s licence and clean driving record
• White Card
• Strong technical and product knowledge, with the ability to translate this into clear advice for others
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision and prioritise a busy workload
• Well-presented, reliable, and a genuine team player
