About the Role
As an Application Support Engineer at ACS, you will be the engine room keeping our critical platforms running reliably and securely. You’ll provide hands-on 2nd and 3rd level support across a diverse enterprise stack including Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), IDverse, FinancialForce, Conga, and Skillsoft, ensuring availability and performance for our national, branch, Startup Accelerator, and Member Lounge communities.
This is a hands-on role for someone who brings pragmatic urgency, deep platform knowledge, and a strong service ethic, comfortable working across engineering, BA, and vendor teams in an agile environment to deliver continuous improvement.
This is a maximum term 12 month contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support across ACS’s enterprise applications, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and service continuity is maintained.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem investigations, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions that improve application stability.
- Administer and maintain assigned enterprise applications, ensuring platforms remain reliable, fit for purpose, and aligned to business needs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand support requirements, resolve issues, and improve the effective use of enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with IT Engineering, Business Analysts, and external vendors to support releases, enhancements, and application improvements.
- Monitor application performance, availability, and service trends, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, user experience, and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies, reducing recurring issues, and strengthening support processes and documentation.
- Ensure application services operate in accordance with ACS governance, security, and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audit activities.

About You
Qualifications/Work Experience/Skills
You’re an experienced application support professional who knows enterprise platforms deeply and enjoys working across technical and business teams to keep things running and get things shipped. You bring a service-first mindset, handle competing priorities with ease, and know how to focus your energy where it counts.
Your Background Includes:
- 5+ years in an application support role across major enterprise platforms.
- Proven Salesforce administration and configuration experience.
- Strong understanding of Adobe AEM administration and configuration.
- Experience with MuleSoft, RESTful APIs, and integrated platform environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps and automation practices, Apex, Java and/or .NET.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL, Azure, AWS, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
- Solid grounding in ITIL frameworks and Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications in Salesforce, ITIL v3/v4, MuleSoft, or Adobe AEM are highly regarded.
