About the role

This role supports the continued growth and effective management of AusIMM’s Industry Partner portfolio, with an initial focus on Queensland-based partner activity. The role provides dedicated account management, renewal, retention and operational support, strengthening partner engagement, coordinating the delivery of partnership commitments, maintaining accurate CRM and reporting processes, and identifying opportunities to grow value within existing accounts.

This role is a great development pathway for an emerging partnerships professional to build capability in strategic account management, partnership growth, business development and industry relationship development within the resources sector.

Based in Brisbane, the role provides practical, on-the-ground support where required, while contributing to improved partner service levels, greater continuity and stronger coordination across the broader partnerships function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with allocated Industry Partners.
  • Coordinate partner meetings, follow-ups and actions to keep engagement on track.
  • Support partner renewals, retention activity and ongoing account management.
  • Deliver agreed partnership benefits accurately, professionally and on time.
  • Maintain CRM records, partner notes, renewal dates and opportunity tracking.
  • Prepare partner communications, reports, proposals, contracts and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen partner engagement and grow account value.
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate partnership deliverables and priorities.
  • Represent AusIMM professionally in partner interactions, meetings and local engagement activities.

You are a proactive and relationship-focused professional who enjoys building strong partnerships, keeping things organised, and delivering great service to stakeholders.

You must have:

  • Experience in account management, partner support, business development support or customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage renewals, stakeholder follow-up, service delivery and relationship administration.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple partner accounts, deadlines and priorities.
  • High attention to detail and confidence maintaining CRM records, reports, contracts, proposals and related documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trust with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improved partner engagement, retention and account growth.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, actions, presentations, reporting and operational processes.
