We are seeking an experienced Wind Technician – Tooling & Storesperson to support the delivery of a major wind farm construction project in New South Wales. This role would suit an experienced Wind Technician who is looking to leverage their industry knowledge in a tooling, stores and logistics capacity while remaining closely connected to day-to-day site operations.

About the Role
Working closely with site management and field crews, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all tools, equipment, consumables, and spare parts are available, serviceable, and ready when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing site tooling, equipment, and calibration registers
- Issuing and receiving tools and specialist equipment
- Safely operate a HR truck to deliver tooling, equipment, consumables, and critical spare parts to technicians working across the project.
- Coordinating tooling inspections, servicing, and repairs
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering consumables and spare parts
- Maintaining accurate records within site management systems
- Assisting with goods receipting, stock control, and stores organisation
- Supporting technicians with tooling requirements and project logistics
- Conducting regular inventory audits and stocktakes
- Ensuring compliance with site procedures and quality requirements
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands the realities of working on wind farms and can communicate effectively with technicians and supervisors.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous experience as a Wind Technician, Service Technician, Commissioning Technician, or similar
- HR Drivers Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Telehandler Licence
- Strong understanding of wind turbine tooling, equipment, and maintenance activities
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Experience managing stores, inventory, tooling, or logistics is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and prioritise competing demands
