Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance/Control Advisor to join our wind farm construction project in NSW. You will be conducting testing, inspections, and audits, working to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute quality control processes to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee administration tasks including internal reporting, external/client reporting, document upload to client systems (Procore/Aconex), lead & management of WTG punch list items, ITP and other client quality documents
  • Manage maintenance of quality documents related to wind turbine components, installation works, and operation of associated support equipment
  • Perform audits and inspections to verify compliance with industry standards and internal procedures. These include walkdowns of Wind Turbines during and after stage works such as Preinstallation, Installation and Completions (ECC/MCC).
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test results, reports, and certifications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance training programs.
  • Identify, report, and track quality issues to completion, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Perform root cause analysis & investigation Non-Conformance issues using tools such as 5Y’s and 8D problem solving methodologies

  • Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
  • Experience in the building & construction industry is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance/control role
  • Knowledge of industry standards for building & construction projects
  • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001) is a plus
