Opportunity:
Aurizn are inviting expressions of interest from Software Engineers at all levels to join
our growing talent pool.
As we prepare for project expansion, we’re currently looking for suitably experienced Software Engineers to work across several simulation and modelling projects for Defence clients. These roles are hybrid and with a mix of onsite and flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance and support of simulation frameworks and software libraries.
- Interacting with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyse user requirements.
- Debug and test software applications to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to and uphold software engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews and write technical documentation.
- Continuously and proactively identity and resolve issues and improvements across a large codebase.
What We Are Looking For:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience).
- ·Experience developing high performance or real time software with C++ or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Agile methodology.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and environments.
Due to a requirement to be eligible for a NV1 security clearance, Australian Citizenship is required.
