About the role

We are on the hunt for a Site Engineer to join our team. This is temporary / full-time role for the duration of our Queensland project which will conclude in March 2027.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the project manager with project planning and start up activities.
  • Project delivery to agreed programs, timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist the project manager and site construction team with preparation, planning and execution of construction activities.
  • Formation, maintenance and compliance of QA documentation.
  • Manage project programs/schedules as directed by the project manager.
  • Preparation of project reporting (daily works, project progress, project costs).
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working on civil infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering quality driven projects to defined specifications and standards.
  • Knowledge of project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of ground conditions and material handling practices
  • Previous experience in bulk earthworks preferred
  • Must have a good understanding of cuts/fill operations, benching, battering and site leveling.
