We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Internal Communications Coordinator (Part-Time, 2 days per week) to join our team and help bring our people, culture and organisational priorities to life through clear, engaging and timely communication.

About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will play a key role in coordinating internal communications across Ashfield Baptist Homes.
You will be responsible for making sure our staff receive the right information, through the right channels, at the right time.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Developing and distributing engaging staff communications across multiple platforms
- Supporting communications from the Chief Executive and Leadership Team
- Creating clear and accessible content for staff, residents, families and key stakeholders
- Providing advice to managers and staff on the best way to communicate information
- Supporting the development of staff communications and digital platforms
- Maintaining consistent ABH branding across internal communications
- Writing, editing and proofreading communications and publications
- Supporting the production of newsletters, reports and other organisational resources
- Coordinating communication activities, campaigns and projects
- Supporting website and social media content where required
- Working with external suppliers and creative providers when required
- Helping increase staff awareness and engagement with organisational initiatives, events and activities
You will also contribute to ensuring our communications reflect ABH’s Mission, Vision and Values, while maintaining appropriate privacy, confidentiality and resident dignity.
About you
We are looking for a confident communicator who can turn sometimes complex information into simple, engaging and meaningful messages.
You will ideally have:
- A degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field
- Experience in communications, marketing or a similar role
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience creating content across different communication channels
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience managing website content, ideally using WordPress
- The ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member
- A creative and practical approach to solving communication challenges
Experience in aged care or the not-for-profit sector would be highly regarded.
