HR Truck Driver – Meadowbrook

We are currently seeking a HR Licensed Heavy Vehicle Driver, Store person to join our dedicated Team in Meadowbrook. In this role, you will deliver building supplies throughout Brisbane and help with the warehouse operations.

What you will be doing:

• Operate a heavy rigid (HR) truck with a manual transmission.
• Delivery & pick up around the Brisbane areas with some country work.
• Some warehouse duties from time to time.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections.
• Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery.
• Perform some manual unloading of goods.
• Transport products safely.
• Perform warehouse duties as required, including stocktaking and order fulfilment.
• Complete all training and compliance tasks as required.

You will bring with you:

• Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct load restraint techniques.
• A commitment to the importance of safety – you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Good customer service & communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Forklift License would be highly advantageous.
• Current HR driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of Brisbane metro routes.
