HR Truck Driver

We are currently seeking a HR Licensed Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our dedicated Team in Dandenong South. In this role, you will deliver building supplies throughout Melbourne.

What you will be doing:

• Safe, professional, and timely delivery/pick up of goods to and from various site locations
• Operate heavy rigid (HR) truck
• Delivery & pick up around the Melbourne areas with some country work.
• Some warehouse duties from time to time
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections
• Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery
• Perform manual unloading of goods
• Transport products safely
• Follow company policies and procedures, including WHS and transport legislation
• Perform some warehouse duties from time to time.
• Complete all training and compliance tasks as required

You will bring with you:

• Current VIC HR Manual
• Driver Licence – Mandatory
• Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint
• A commitment to the importance of safety – you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
• Good customer service & communication skills
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Forklift License would be highly advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of Melbourne metro routes.
