In this role, you’ll take ownership of every stage of the journey, from the initial client concept through to the final delivery element, acting as both the creative architect and the operational backbone behind each program. You’ll draw on deep local expertise, sharp supplier relationships and meticulous ground planning to translate ambitious client visions into flawlessly executed, on-the-ground realities.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Plan and deliver all stages of projects and incentive programs, providing expertise and support in order to facilitate the successful delivery of the program.
  • Build strong client relations throughout the management of the project to maximise repeat business
  • Build strong supplier relationships and manage these throughout the project lifecycle to ensure both value for money and delivery at Arinex standards.  
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain up-to-date project budgets to maximise profit for Arinex.  
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with the wider team to ensure everyone has all relevant and up to date project information throughout the lifecycle of each project.  
  • Support business development activities including proposal development, client presentations, site inspections, sales initiatives and identification of new business opportunities 
  • Support and at times lead onsite inspections and other sales initiatives as required, to help generate and convert leads to secure business, by demonstrating Arinex commitment to exceptional service delivery. 
  • Encourage client’s feedback on all aspects of the project to meet the client’s expectations and the improvement of Arinex products and services.  
  • Investigate and stay informed on new venues, suppliers, and destination product offerings in the Australian, Fijian, and New Zealand markets.  
  • Assist in the management of Arinex preferred suppliers, their service agreements, quality assurance, as well as sourcing new suppliers when required.  
  • Complete all administration tasks as requested including updating of project plans, databases, project budgets and reports.  
  • Promote the practise of risk management throughout the project to minimise Arinex exposure and protect clients, staff, and suppliers.  
  • Actively participate in the events, incentive and tourism industry related activities.  

 

 

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Events/Travel Industry.  
  • Demonstrated project management experience in a travel / DMC / incentives agency and/or the corporate special events environment. 
  • Knowledge of venues, suppliers, and destination products in Australia, Fiji & New Zealand.  
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.  
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.    
  • Excellent client relationship management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation, including executive level. 
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the capacity to manage and prioritise multiple events/ projects at the same time to meet project deadlines. 
  • High level of personal and professional presentation.
