About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct, person‑centred support to clients across daily living, community participation, social engagement, and skill development. You will promote independence, choice, dignity and meaningful connection — always guided by each client’s NDIS goals.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building trusting, meaningful relationships with clients and their support networks
- Facilitating community inclusion, participation and skill‑building activities aligned with client goals
- Supporting positive behaviour and following each client’s Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) where required
- Providing personal care and domestic assistance when needed
- Maintaining clear, factual progress notes and communication to ensure seamless support between workers
- Upholding Annie’s House policies, NDIS Code of Conduct, and WHS procedures at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or other relevant qualification — or working towards completion within 12 months
- Current driver’s license and reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and/or Working with Children Check

- Confident in supporting people with diverse needs, including ASD or mental health challenges (advantage)
