About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct, person‑centred support to clients across daily living, community participation, social engagement, and skill development. You will promote independence, choice, dignity and meaningful connection — always guided by each client’s NDIS goals.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building trusting, meaningful relationships with clients and their support networks
  • Facilitating community inclusion, participation and skill‑building activities aligned with client goals
  • Supporting positive behaviour and following each client’s Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) where required
  • Providing personal care and domestic assistance when needed
  • Maintaining clear, factual progress notes and communication to ensure seamless support between workers
  • Upholding Annie’s House policies, NDIS Code of Conduct, and WHS procedures at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or other relevant qualification — or working towards completion within 12 months
  • Current driver’s license and reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and/or Working with Children Check
