The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinical team.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently in the community while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will provide high-quality clinical care to participants with complex health and disability needs across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive nursing assessments.
  • Develop and review person-centred nursing care plans.
  • Provide continence assessments and management.
  • Deliver wound assessments and ongoing wound care.
  • Perform catheter management (IDC/SPC).
  • Support bowel care management programs.
  • Administer medications and provide clinical interventions within scope of practice.
  • Monitor participant health and identify changes requiring escalation.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with support workers, allied health professionals, families, and external healthcare providers.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to disability support workers when required.
  • Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies, and current evidence-based practice.

Essential Criteria

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ post-registration nursing experience (community nursing experience highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting participants with complex clinical needs.
  • Sound knowledge of wound care, continence management, catheter care, and bowel care.
  • Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
