As a Desktop Building Estimator, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
  • Estimate, schedule, and supervise trades remotely.
  • Coordinate make-safes and review reports for insurers with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with trades to ensure observations and actions are communicated effectively via photos and written reports.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Cert III in Carpentry (Highly regarded)
  • Estimating Experience: A background in residential construction estimating is essential.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, repair management systems, and mobile devices with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to create, read, and interpret scopes of work with accuracy.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Team Player: Proactive, driven, and committed to being part of a successful, KPI-oriented team.
