With a management team that has 30+year experience in Out of Home Care, Disability services within Australia. We provide SIL, Community Access, In Home Support and much more to our clients.

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide assistance and support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence and community integration.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualities of a Support Worker

• Experience or a passion for working with individuals with disabilities funded under the NDIS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations
• Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy

Licenses and Certifications

1. NDIS Worker Screening Check
2. Blue Card (Employee Version)
3. P2 Green Drivers License
4. First Aid (Level 2 or Senior) & CPR
5. Comprehensive Car Insurance
