Compositor – Senior

We’re a close-knit team working across a wide range of projects, from early previs through to full VFX production and final delivery. You’ll be a cornerstone of the compositing team, solving the hardest shots and setting the quality benchmark for everyone around you.

As a Senior Compositor, you own your shots end to end. You know when to push back on a bad plate, when to ask for a re-render, and when to just solve it in comp. You lead by example and leave every tree in better shape than you found it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take ownership of hero and complex shots across the full range of comp disciplines – from photoreal CG integration to invisible effects and beauty work
• Set quality and craft standards through your own work, and provide informal guidance and shot reviews to mid-level and junior compositors
• Identify and implement workflow improvements – smarter approaches to recurring shot types, reusable toolkits, and comp templates that raise the floor for the whole team
• Actively integrate AI-assisted tools into your day-to-day practice and help others do the same
• Collaborate closely with the Compositing Supervisor and CG teams to ensure comp and CG are solving problems together
• Maintain calm and clarity – your stability is a resource for the people around you

WHO YOU ARE

• 5+ years of compositing experience with feature film, high-end episodic, or TVC credits – you’ve seen the full range of shot complexity
• Expert-level Nuke: deep compositing, 3D space, custom toolsets, Python scripting for automation, and multi-layer EXR pipelines
• A refined eye for colour and light – you can match a grade across a sequence and feel the difference between a technically correct comp and a great one
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML compositing tools and genuine enthusiasm for what’s coming next
• A collaborative instinct – you share knowledge freely, take feedback graciously, and make the people around you better
