Description

We’re a close-knit team working across a wide range of projects, from early previs through to full VFX production and final delivery. You’ll work across the full asset lifecycle, contributing to some of the most technically demanding work in the pipeline.

As an Asset Generalist, you move fluidly between modelling, surfacing, rigging, and grooming – you’re not precious about discipline boundaries. Your most complex work will involve hero digital doubles that must hold up to extreme scrutiny at any focal length. You bring both technical precision and a sculptor’s eye to every asset you touch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and deliver high-quality CG assets across modelling, UV layout, surfacing, rigging, and grooming – from hero props through to CG characters
  • Lead asset development (including digis) from scan data through to final approved asset – including geometry cleanup, blend-shape creation, surfacing and groom
  • Work closely with scan and photogrammetry data, using tools including but not limited to ZBrush, and Houdini
  • Build and maintain rigs that serve both animation and simulation requirements, with clean deformation across the full range of motion
  • Utilise AI-assisted asset generation tools from neural texture synthesis to generative geometry
  • Collaborate with downstream departments to ensure seamless delivery and work without friction

WHO YOU ARE

  • A generalist at heart with deep experience across at least two asset disciplines, and the ability to competently cover the rest when needed
  • Hands-on experience building digidoubles or hero human/creature assets for feature film or high-end episodic production
  • Strong working knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, and Mari or Substance – plus scan processing tools
  • A keen eye for human anatomy, likeness, and skin detail
  • Eagerness or experience in emerging AI tools for asset creation – neural displacement, generative texturing, AI-assisted grooming
