- Proven experience operating and programming CNC machines (drilling, routing, milling) in manufacturing.

We’re looking for two skilled CNC machinists to join our production crew on an afternoon shift, with the role transitioning to a day shift in the future.
About the role
You’ll operate CNC machines to drill, rout and mill aluminium components, programming and running jobs to spec while keeping quality and safety front of mind. You’ll work autonomously, follow technical drawings, and contribute to a positive, productive team environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating and programming CNC machines (drilling, routing, milling)
- Preparing and loading aluminium and parts on and off machines
- Supervising machine runs and making adjustments as needed
- Inspecting and measuring finished parts against specifications
- Carrying out daily machine checks and maintenance
- Reading and working from CAD drawings and STP/DXF files
- Reporting non-conformances to your Team Leader/Supervisor
- Supporting general fabrication and warehouse duties as required
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical/CAD drawings
- Experience creating programs from CAD files
- Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Confidence with MS Office
- Physically capable of doing a hands-on factory role requiring standing, lifting, and manual handling
- Rights to live and work in Australia
- A forklift licence and/or driver’s licence highly regarded but not essential
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm.
Please note: this role currently operates on an afternoon shift, transitioning to a day shift in future. Candidates need to be available for afternoons initially, with flexibility to move to days down the track.
