As one of Australia’s leading independent car hire companies, we are growing fast and need a hands-on, proactive and business-minded Second-in-Charge (2IC) to help steer our daily operations at our freshly renovated Eagle Farm branch.

You will be on the floor supporting the Branch Manager, coordinating a busy fleet and empowering our team to deliver outstanding service every single day. WHAT YOU’LL NEED UNDER THE HOOD

Availability: As the branch operates seven days a week, flexibility with your working days is required to support the roster.
Previous experience in fleet management, transport, logistics or car hire (highly preferred).
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Stellar organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
The confidence to make fast operational decisions in a high-paced environment.
A current unrestricted driver’s licence.

STEERING DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS

Supporting the Branch Manager with daily operations and critical decision-making.
Stepping up to oversee the branch and keep things running smoothly in the Branch Manager’s absence.
Coordinating the vehicle fleet to ensure vehicles are maintained, compliant and available.
Managing vehicle scheduling, allocations and returns for everyone.
Leading, mentoring and supporting branch staff to hit service and performance targets.
Building strong customer relationships through professional, timely and friendly service
Identifying fresh opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service and overall branch performance.
Handling branch reporting, compliance and administration.
