At Allume Energy, we believe clean energy
should be accessible to everyone – no matter where they live. We’re a Melbourne
based technology company focused on unlocking solar access for apartments and
multi-tenanted buildings. Our world-first hardware and software product,
SolShare, is a powerful solution to an emerging energy equity issue and
reducing global carbon emissions.
Built here in Melbourne, SolShare has
connected over 12,000 apartments to rooftop solar across Australia, the UK and
the US. We are doubling our installation base each year and have ambition to
connect over 100,000 apartments to solar by 2029. Our dedication to this cause
flows through everything that we do, fostering a culture where everyone is
committed to making a difference.

testing and maintenance of scalable back-end services, APIs and Vue.js
front-end applications.
- Guide the
technical direction and evolution of Allume’s web stack, including backend

uses AI tooling across the development lifecycle. Establish effective
workflows and quality and security guardrails for AI-generated code, and
coach the team to use these tools responsibly.
- Participate in the team’s shared on-call
roster, rotated across the team, with clear runbooks and backup support
available while on call.
- As a technical leader within Allume, actively champion and
model our cultural values across the team and broader organisation.
Experience:
