Role Type
Description
Bring your fabrication, manufacturing or quality experience into a role where the detail matters- from design documentation through to final shipment.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting the details right and wants a role that combines technical documentation, quality, engineering and hands-on operations.
You might already work in fabrication, manufacturing, engineering or quality and be ready for your next step or you could be a capable engineering graduate with the technical aptitude and confidence to grow quickly.
Either way, you’ll play an important role in making sure our products are right, documented and ready before they leave us.
What you’ll be doing
A strong focus of your role will be reviewing the technical information behind our products- checking drawings, designs and QC documentation and identifying anything that doesn’t line up before shipment.
You’ll also stay connected to the physical product and our warehouse team.
You’ll:
- Review engineering and fabrication drawings and QC documentation.
- Check products and documentation against required designs and specifications.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information and non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate, traceable quality records.
- Carry out visual inspections of fabricated components and welds.
- Work with Operations, Supply Chain and our fabrication partners to resolve issues.
- Delegate activities and provide clear direction to team members when required.
- Help improve the way we manage quality and documentation.
For the right graduate, we can help develop the industry-specific quality knowledge. What we can’t teach as easily is curiosity, ownership, attention to detail and the confidence to speak up when something isn’t right.
What you’ll bring
We’re ideally looking for someone with experience in fabrication, manufacturing, quality, engineering or a similar technical environment.
You’ll be someone who:
- Can read and interpret technical or fabrication drawings.
- Has a strong eye for detail and enjoys getting things right.
- Is organised and confident managing technical documentation.
- Communicates well and is comfortable speaking up when something doesn’t look right.
- Can prioritise, delegate and follow things through.
- Shows initiative, accountability and the potential to lead others.
Experience with steel fabrication, weld inspection or relevant welding standards would be highly regarded. The current role specifically calls for shop-drawing interpretation and an understanding of visual weld inspection.
Engineering graduate? We’re open to hearing from you too. If you have a relevant engineering qualification, strong technical aptitude and the maturity and leadership potential to take ownership, don’t let the experience preference stop you from applying.
