What you’ll do

  • Install, terminate, label and test fibre and copper communications infrastructure
  • Deliver containment, cable pathways, rack and stack, cabinet fit-off and patching works
  • Read drawings, follow scopes and execute installations accurately with minimal rework
  • Work with leading hands, supervisors, project coordinators and other trades to keep delivery moving
  • Support apprentices and newer technicians while maintaining high site standards
  • Complete testing, labelling and handover documentation to project requirements

Our ideal candidate

  • Current ACMA licence with Structured, Coaxial and Fibre endorsements – essential
  • VIC Electrical licence is highly regarded
  • Experience in structured cabling across construction, data centres or critical infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of cabling standards, testing and best-practice installation
  • Safety-first, tidy on site and committed to high-quality workmanship
  • Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable in fast-paced project environments
