Description

All Preparation Equipment is an established Australian supplier of specialised equipment and consumables to the construction and flooring industries.

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Storeperson to take ownership of our warehouse operations in Murarrie, Brisbane.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can manage their own priorities and takes initiative to keep operations moving smoothly. You will be the main person working in the warehouse, while also working closely with our sales, administration and repairs teams.

What you’ll be doing:

Receiving & Dispatch

• Accurately receive, check and label incoming stock 

• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders with care and accuracy 

• Manage freight bookings and coordinate deliveries to ensure on-time, in-full service 

• Handle customer returns and repair equipment with the correct documentation

Inventory & Hire Equipment

• Maintain accurate stock records and bin locations in our inventory management system 

• Assist with stock rotation, stocktakes, stock transfers and replenishment 

• Manage hire equipment storage, on-hire and off-hire processes 

• Clean hire equipment ready for re-hire and coordinate any required maintenance with the Repairs Workshop

Warehouse Organisation & Safety

• Take ownership of keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and efficient — “everything in its place” 

• Review warehouse layout and product locations and implement improvements where required  

• Identify tasks that need attention and take action without requiring constant direction 

• Follow and promote safe work practices and warehouse procedures 

• Assist other areas of the business during quieter warehouse periods

What we’re looking for:

• A positive, “can do” attitude 

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or dispatch environment 

• Current forklift licence 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

• Reliable, proactive and takes pride in their work 

• Able to communicate and work effectively as part of a wider team 

• Experience using inventory systems and freight booking systems 

• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items

Mechanical or electrical experience or qualifications would be highly regarded. For the right person, there may also be opportunities to assist in our Repairs Workshop and develop into broader technical responsibilities over time.
