Alfresco Emporium is an Australian specialty retailer of lifestyle and dining products. We have physical stores in Collaroy and Glenhaven NSW and Bundall and Albion QLD and a strong Online Store that caters to customers worldwide, offering a range of high-quality products to enhance their homes.

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the team 5 days a week (including one day on a weekend) to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the store’s staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. The Retail Store Manager will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
• Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to ensure adequate stock levels
• Manage budgets and expenses, ensuring the store operates within financial guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and in compliance with company standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing staff
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting principles
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
