Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dispensary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the dispensing of medications and ensuring that all medications are properly labeled, stored, and distributed. The Dispensary Technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and inventory of all medications.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications to patients in accordance with prescriptions and established procedures
• Ensure that all medications are properly labeled, stored, and distributed
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of all medications
• Assist in the preparation of medications, including measuring, mixing, and packaging
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Answer patient questions and provide information about medications
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensary area
• Follow all safety and security procedures
• Webster packing duties

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
• Familiarity with pharmacy laws and regulations
