AG Security Group is looking for a professional, customer and client-focused Security Coordinator to support daily security operations at a busy CBD-based client site.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. You may already have experience in site coordination or be a senior Security Officer ready to step into a role with more responsibility, client contact and day-to-day site involvement.

About the role
As the Security Coordinator, you will work as part of a two-person security team and support the day-to-day coordination of security services at a site that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will liaise with the client, assist the onsite security team, maintain service standards and help ensure the site remains safe, organised and well managed.
This is a customer and client-facing role where communication, presentation and professionalism matter. You will work with the client, visitors, contractors, members of the public and AG Security Group’s operations team to support a smooth and responsive security service.
You will also use security and administration systems, including Gallagher and Avigilon, along with Microsoft Office, email and other computer-based systems as required.
What you will be doing
Your role will include:
- Supporting daily site security coordination
- Providing professional client liaison and customer service
- Assisting and guiding Security Officers on site
- Coordinating access control and authorised entry
- Using Gallagher, Avigilon and other site security systems
- Monitoring CCTV, security systems and associated equipment
- Maintaining a visible security presence through inspections and foot patrols
- Responding professionally to incidents and operational requirements
- Completing reports, records and site documentation
- Building positive relationships with the client, visitors, contractors and the public
- Following company procedures, site instructions and safety requirements
- Using Microsoft Office, email and other administrative systems as required
About you
You will be reliable, well-presented and confident working in a busy client-facing environment. You will have strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to build positive working relationships with clients, team members, visitors and contractors.
This role will suit someone who is calm under pressure, organised, customer and client-focused, and ready to take responsibility in a site coordination role.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Australian citizenship, as required to obtain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance
- Current South Australian Security Licence
- Current South Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working with Children Check
- Experience in a customer or client-facing security role
- Experience supporting, guiding or working closely with other Security Officers
- Experience operating CCTV, access control and security systems
- Experience using Gallagher and/or Avigilon systems, or the ability to learn new systems confidently
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, email and computer-based reporting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and professional presentation
- A reliable, honest and team-focused approach
