AG Security Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Security Officers for
upcoming opportunities across Adelaide.
We are looking for professional, reliable and customer-focused officers who take pride in delivering high-quality security services across Defence, corporate, government and concierge-style environments.
Hours may vary depending on site requirements and can include shifts between 5:00am and
10:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
About the Role
Depending on the site, duties may include:
- Providing professional customer service to visitors, contractors, staff and clients
- Managing access control and monitoring entry to secure or restricted area.
- Operating CCTV, access control and electronic security systems
- Monitoring alarms, duress alarms and responding to activations
- Conducting foot patrols and CCTV surveillance
- Responding to incidents, emergencies and security concerns
- Completing incident reports, shift logs and clear handovers
- Maintaining a professional and visible security presence
About You
You will demonstrate:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A professional, well-presented and approachable manner
- Experience in CCTV monitoring, incident identification and escalation
- Experience using access control, CCTV or electronic security systems
- Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word and Excel
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Defence, corporate, government, concierge or high-security environments will be highly regarded
- Experience with Gallagher, Avigilon or similar systems will be highly regarded
Eligibility
Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:
- Current South Australian Security Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
Some opportunities will be based within Defence-related environments.
For these roles, applicants must be Australian citizens and either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain, an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance. Relevant background and probity checks will apply.
