About the role

Our technical auditors attend customer’s premises and conduct structured audits and inspections with the intent of identifying the status of Essential Safety Measures compliance, attending System Interface Tests and generating reports that articulate that status of compliance.

An overview of the key responsibilities include.

  • Undertake Essential Safety Measures audits and inspections and other surveys and generate accurate reports for clients.
  • Co ordinate and attend System Interface Tests, providing status reports and defect identification.
  • Accurate recording of job times and other control data to ensure that AESC is able to monitor its operational performances.
  • The establishment and management of customer meetings (which are ideally, face-to-face) to ensure that adequate information is imparted to the customer to be able to progress any issues that have been identified in the audits or inspections.
  • Interview building managers to identify relevant facts concerning properties to be audited.
  • Provide client briefings and meetings regarding audit findings and maintain communications with client representatives regarding the progress of jobs to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Review and critique audit reports generated by other auditors.

About you

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Fire system or Mechanical or passive fire experience or qualifications
  • Account management or team management or co-ordination experience
  • Preferable to be APFS accredited
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate positive outcomes for all stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, fast learning, team player
  • Ability to work autonomously
