Advanced Chain Technologies Australia Pty Ltd (ACTA) have supplied world class equipment for Australia’s Longwall Coal Mining and hard rock tunnelling Industry since 1997. ACTA now distributes cable and hose handling and protection systems worldwide from their new manufacturing company based in Unanderra Wollongong and are looking for a new member to join our team of multiskilled employees.

Qualifications & experience

· Ideally have a valid Forklift License.

· Preferably the Applicant should have experience working in a workshop and/or factory environment however this may be overlooked for the right candidate.

· Previous experience in operating workshop machinery an advantage.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Duties may include operation of Injection Molding machines, Projection (Spot) welding and CNC machine loading/operation, as well as finished product assembly and packaging.

· The successful candidate should have good communication skills, be adaptable to changing duties and able to work in a small team environment.

· Preferably experienced working in a workshop and/or factory environment.

· Must have a strong safety focus, continually working to a Zero-harm culture.

There will be a three-month trial period after which the position should be made permanent together with a salary review.
