The Gig:

As Sales Manager for Groups & Events, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing and growing new business with a strong focus on the group and event market segments. You’ll be a key point of contact for corporate event sales enquiries while also supporting the overall leadership, strategy and commercial performance of the events segment. This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who thrives on the thrill of the chase, builds strong long-term client relationships, and understands how to convert opportunities into revenue growth across corporate event markets.

About you:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales management, preferably within a 5-star hotel or similar.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong sales, and client management skills.
  • Effective in prioritising and organising work assignments, with timely follow-up and flawless execution.
  • Systems-savvy, particularly when using CRM software to manage sales pipelines, track client activities, and report on performance.
  • Proven track record in proactive hotel or event sales, using expert negotiation skills to confidently turn leads into revenue.
  • Highly motivated with sharp commercial acumen, you excel at analysing market trends and monitoring competitors to recommend impactful pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
