We’re looking for a passionate and commercially driven Business Development Specialist – Ultrasound to join Big Green Surgical, a trusted leader in healthcare technology and medical solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the NSW territory, driving growth and customer adoption of innovative ultrasound technology across hospitals, urgent care, general practice, universities, allied health, sports medicine and veterinary markets. Based in Sydney, this role involves extensive travel throughout metropolitan, regional and remote NSW.

What You’ll Do

As the Business Development Specialist – Ultrasound, you’ll be responsible for growing revenue, increasing market share and accelerating customer adoption of our ultrasound solutions portfolio.

You’ll build strong relationships with clinicians, educators, procurement teams and key decision-makers while helping customers understand how ultrasound technology can improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and market share across the ultrasound portfolio throughout NSW.
  • Develop new business opportunities across hospitals, urgent care, general practice, universities, physiotherapy, sports medicine and veterinary markets.
  • Achieve assigned revenue, supplier, product and gross profit targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to support sustainable territory growth.
  • Conduct professional product demonstrations, customer evaluations and user training.
  • Develop evaluation strategies that maximise customer engagement and conversion to commercial adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with clinical champions, procurement stakeholders, key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
  • Present clinical, technical and commercial solutions to a broad range of customer groups.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and business cases to support customer decision-making.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, workshops and training programs.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, service, finance and regulatory teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • 3+ years’ experience in medical device sales, ultrasonography, or clinicians with proven ultrasound experience.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
  • Commercial acumen and confidence managing complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing a large territory.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working with ultrasound technology or point-of-care ultrasound solutions.
  • Clinical background in sonography, emergency medicine, critical care, anaesthetics, veterinary medicine or allied health.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, healthcare networks, universities, allied health or veterinary markets.
  • Understanding of ultrasound imaging principles and clinical workflows.
