Senior Bookkeeper

Flexible School Hours or Full-Time | Boutique Chartered Accounting Firm

We are a growing boutique chartered accounting firm seeking an experienced and capable Senior Bookkeeper to join our collaborative accounting team.

This role is ideal for a professional bookkeeper who enjoys building strong client relationships, takes pride in accurate and timely work, and wants the flexibility of either school-hour part-time work or full-time employment.

You will work closely with our managers and accounting team, supporting a broad range of business clients across multiple industries.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and compliance matters for a portfolio of clients, including:

• End-to-end bookkeeping
• Payroll processing and STP reporting
• BAS and IAS preparation
• Bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable
• Xero and cloud accounting support
• Assisting clients with bookkeeping queries and process improvements
• Liaising with accountants and managers to support client outcomes

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced senior bookkeeper with solid Australian bookkeeping knowledge
• Confident preparing BAS and managing STP obligations
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Experienced with Xero (preferred) and cloud-based systems
• Professional, proactive and client-focused
• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a supportive team
• A strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
