As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join our national team. This role is central to supporting our Business Development Managers and branch network, ensuring our sales operations run efficiently while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

About the Role

The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to our national sales function, working closely with Business Development Managers and branch teams across Australia.

You’ll play a key role in preparing quotes, managing customer pricing, maintaining sales systems and supporting day-to-day sales administration. This is a fast-paced and varied position that requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer quotations using DEAR and HIO systems.
  • Provide administrative support to National Business Development Managers.
  • Prepare pricing proposals and supporting sales documentation.
  • Follow up customer quotations and liaise with branches and BDMs on progress.
  • Allocate and maintain customer accounts across sales systems.
  • Update customer pricing and rates in accordance with approved pricing structures.
  • Monitor contract and pricing expiry dates and coordinate renewals.
  • Maintain accurate salesperson allocations for reporting and commission purposes.
  • Assist with overflow interstate sales enquiries when required.
  • Support the Melbourne Hire team during peak periods.
  • Coordinate sales collateral, brochures and promotional merchandise with the Marketing Team.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with branches to ensure consistent national sales administration processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and undertake additional duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems such as DEAR, HIO, Zoho CRM or similar.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • A willingness to learn and continuously improve processes.
