Senior Engineer

Civil engineering organisation, in existence over 70 years, with a place on major infrastructure frameworks, requires a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer for a project in Kent.

The scheme is the upgrade of a former boatyard at the docks in Dover, comprising of the installation of new services, drainage and modular buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out on site
• Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers
• Manage site sample and performance testing, recording results
• RAMS
• Manage site service drawings and plans, issue permits
• Assist QS and Project Manager by providing requested information
• Manage temporary works
• Maintain excellent relations with client, suppliers and sub-contractors
• Ensure all work meets client requirements and complies with health, safety and environmental legislation

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer in the highways / civils industry
• Driving licence
• CSCS
• SSSTS / SMSTS
