Project Manager – Telecoms

Working in the telecoms department of an infrastructure and utility service organisation, this Project Manager role is covering schemes in the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire areas (Slough and Princes Risborough).  These are major projects and customer connections, and the Project Manager will be responsible for both fibre / PIA services and civils.

Responsibilities:

• Project management of telecoms / fibre works, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget
• Ensure schemes are delivered safely and in accordance with company policies and client requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders
• Produce cost-effective business solutions
• Assist with preparation of tenders and estimates
• Manage all project operations
• Take part in client and internal project review meetings
• Carry out site audits
• Produce reports
• Meet with local authorities and traffic management organisations – foster a strong relationship
• Plan and manage team resources, ensuring these are sufficient for successful project delivery

Requirements:

• Project management experience in the telecoms industry
• Driving licence
• NRSWA Supervisor
• CSCS Card
• SA002 PIA Duct Survey & SA007 PIA Subduct and Cable Installation
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
